I like the look of this. It has a nice feel to it. I especially like the variations in the colors. I am curious how you got this effect...

Some of you may have noticed that I have not been around for awhile. Most people don't notice me at all standing in the corner. About a month ago I went on unemployment, again, as yet another motorcycle shop closed. This led to several things happening, not the least of which was the loss of all utilities (gas, electric) and internet. Yesterday was the first day back in my house with electric and internet. God I missed my computer. My mom's E-Mac is sooooo slow compared to my Mac-Pro. God bless her and my step father for allowing my wife and I to stay with them during this time.

Also during this month my wife and I let an oil leak on the car get the better of us and we spun a rod bearing. It destroyed the crankshaft, and cracked a piston. Fortunately I am a mechanic and can fix it. This does not help pay the 600 dollars in parts though. During the time the car (our ONLY car) was down, my wife :iconrougesrage: was working for Tandy Leather Factory an HOUR and HALF away from where we work. Several times I had to ride her to work on my bike in less than pleasant weather. Any body know what its like to ride for an hour and a half on a 30 year old motorcycle seat? Neither do I, my ass is still numb from it.

In the end it payed off though. Our dedication to my wife's job impressed her regional manager and she in training right now for a FULL time managerial position with her own store. Unfortunately Tandy does not have a store on every corner. There are about 150 stores in the entire country. So we will probably be moving. WOO HOO!! I finally get to get out of this God forsaken place Called Pittsburgh. It really is the Pitts!

Due to my wifes job and my absence from my computer, I have gotten away from my digital art. I did, however get into leathercraft. I have started on a belt and sheath for my sword and a pair of boots. I have a leather box I made too that I will put in my gallery.

All in all things are back on track till the next time my life hiccups. Hope all of you are well too.

Beware the lollipop of mediocrity. Lick once, and you will suck forever.

Your most welcome! I really liked the mod cover and the desktop. I've recently gotten into leather and there are few resources that I have seen for patterns that aren't western style. I really like the flourishes you used in the corners.
